Artist Profile: Ned Tonner

Ned Tonner's newest CD "Live Life in Christ" captures the interest of the listener with its driving folk-rock acoustical guitar strumming and soulful lyrics and is reminiscent of Ned's two prior contemporary Christian CD’s "As You Are" and "Take Time".

"Live Life in Christ" was a 2005 Unity Award finalist in the Pop/Contemporary Album of the year category and Ned was also a finalist in two other Unity Award categories, Male Vocalist of the year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year. Ned is an attorney by day and a songwriter by night. He has previously practiced in Chicago and Los Angeles and worked for a Federal Judge for the Northern District of Indiana. He has represented entertainment law clients throughout the country including record labels as well as distribution and video/production companies. "My experience as an entertainment lawyer has only heightened my understanding of the music industry and has helped me understand the art of songwriting,” says Ned. "Often, I write of my own trials and struggles and hopefully I connect with what a listener is going through as well."
